Windsor Centre for Children and Families. Noticing changes all around us. The children have been noticing how much the grass has grown in forest school. They have also noticed the digger has finished moving the earth and went to find some more fossils. They also noticed the huge tracks the digger made – and liked walking through it. They also noticed the way the flowers are growing. They used some leaves to make special paint and drew with charcoal and climbed up themselves into the wishing tree.

Snakes alive in Parkfields!

Windsor Centre for Children and Families. Snakes alive in Parkfields! Not really – just the ones the children made from the elder tree branches. They also climbed the mud mound, practiced their tree climbing and toasted marshmallows over the fire. One child commented ‘I got muscles – they make my body work’ another one noticed ‘wow hundreds of butterflies’ and another one said ‘the butterfly is looking for the nectar’. Not bad for a days work.
