Under the Giant Penny: June 2011
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. This is the newest "Bat" item that I have added to my collection. An unopened set of Bat-Stickers from 1966. The stickers are 3 7/8 x 3 5/8 in size and there are five different stickers. At least that is what the packaging says. I haven't opened it and I don't plan on opening them to see how many there really are. The colors are still crazy bright. Day-glow colors do not have a long bright life so to speak. I think it looks pretty good on the Bat-shelf! Links to this post.

Toyriffic: Imaginext Arkham Asylum Batmobile
http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2015/08/imaginext-arkham-asylum-batmobile.html
Toys I Am Hunting For' Page. Imaginext Arkham Asylum Batmobile. Has been around for a couple years now, but I only recently added it to my collection. You can see how similar it is to the video game Batmobile (in Hot Wheel form) but they've also added a few elements to make the vehicle a little more unique. When the Batmobile rolls, the motor rocks back and forth. When you push the gas tank lid, the motor pops up Go-Go-Gadget. This Batmobile comes with one of the modern style Batman figures in racing gea...

Under the Giant Penny: Art Studio and Toy Collection Tour
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2014/07/art-studio-and-toy-collection-tour.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. Art Studio and Toy Collection Tour. So, here. we. go. This is the Southwest corner of the room where I have my main art desk. This is where I do the majority of my drawing and painting. This corner also houses my Batman 1966 TV collection. I couldn't be happier that this stuff is FINALLY being produced. This is an assortment of all fairly new items since it's only been a year or two that this stuff has been coming out. A little bit closer look at the TV '66 stuff. A view over the r...

Under the Giant Penny: August 2013
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. Mezco Batman and Robin with the Batmobile. So far this is the only toy in the new "Batman: Classic TV Series" I have seen in a store! It is put out by Mezco and the box says it is a Mez-it toy. I have never seen one of these toys in the real world before I saw this one. I have seen the figure on line before but I thought that they were bigger than they are. The Batmobile is nice and has nice details for the style of toy that it is. Burt Ward isn't as close but it works. These f...

Under the Giant Penny: March 2013
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Oldest Thing In My Collection: Brian B. A week or two ago I asked my fellow UTGP bloggers to post the oldest thing that they had in their collection. Looks like I get to go first! Most collectors collect more than one thing. I try to limit mine to Batman, View Master reels and a few other things here and there but Batman is by far the main subject that I collect besides bills. You are getting this long introduction to prepare you for the first picture of this post. Her Grandfathe...

Under the Giant Penny: May 2013
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 27, 2013. I get a whole ten hours to watch Batman! Batman, no chores. Batman, no work. Batman, nothing else! Okay, like I would ever have ten hours to watch nothing but Batman, still this challenge was a lot harder than I thought it would be, not filling up ten hours, but picking so few as to not go over ten hours. As it is I went over a little. okay a bit more than a little. But, in for a penny in for a pound. I am going to start my list with a classic, Batman (1966. I could never climb a tr...

Under the Giant Penny: December 2013
http://underthegiantpenny.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 17, 2013. 1966 Batman seems to be everywhere this year! It is nice for guys who grew up with Adam West and Burt Ward to finally have some collectables in their likeness. Not only do we get Batman and Robin but a few villains this year too. Mattel even gave us a few villains! Joker, Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman but There are a even more as Heroclix figures. Now I don't play Heroclix the game but I am collecting these figures. The good news is they are under $3 and nicely detailed.

Toyriffic: Arkham City Mr. Freeze
http://toyriffic.blogspot.com/2015/08/arkham-city-mr-freeze.html
Toys I Am Hunting For' Page. Arkham City Mr. Freeze. John from Robot Monster Space Superhero. Sent me this DC Multiverse Mr. Freeze. A few months ago. Mr. Freeze is incredibly detailed for this 3.75" scale. The DC Multiverse line can be a little inconsistent - some figures have accessories, some don't. Some are pretty plain, while some are beautifully sculpted. Mr. Freeze has got to be one of the line's best so far! Thanks again to John for this cool (get it? Haw haw haw) Mr. Freeze! Bootleg 'Karate Turt...
