The Battle of Pleasant Hill was fought on April 9, 1864, during the Red River Campaign of the American Civil War, near Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, between Union forces led by Major General Nathaniel P. Banks and Confederate forces, led by Major General Richard Taylor. The Battle of Pocotaligo Reenactment
The Battle of Pocotaligo. General Robert E. Lee was assigned to the Department of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida in late 1861. Lee designed a series of trench-works in the lowcountry to protect the bridges and causeways. He ordered so many trenches dug that he temporarily earned the nickname, ‘the King of Spades’. A portion of these works can be seen behind the Frampton Plantation House. We hope you enjoy our reenactment of the Battle of Pocotaligo as we pay tribute to the gallant men of both armies!

The siege is all but over! 160; After sucessfully storming the New Town, General Nogi has recieved the surrender of the garrison now commanded by General Maximov. The defenders have lain down their arms. The bloody siege is done, and Port Arthur is in the hands of the victorious Japanese Imperial Army. 160; We then fought a quick 28mm Trench Raiders. When the Russian HQ was overrun!
