Not knowing what to expect, I was surprised at the attention she got and the compliments she received. The day initially looked like we may get rained out but the sun broke through and a great breeze developed. A perfect summer day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). On the day of her splash. A 1948 33' Chris Craft Deluxe Enclosed Cruiser. Saturday, May 30, 2009. May 30.Transom lettering. I get to Mojito just as "Krazy Kolors Larry" is finishing repainting the transom with Mojito's name again. He has done a great job. It's good to have her name on her again. Joel has finished sanding the cabin sides and neutralized the wood in preparation for the stain. He also has had Mojito's motor running and tells me it checks out fine. Two more coats of paint for the topsides. Sand and paint the roof.

Mojito...the boat: Home Port....................St. Paul Yacht Club
http://mojitotheboat.blogspot.com/2009/08/home-portst-paul-yacht-club.html
A 1948 33' Chris Craft Deluxe Enclosed Cruiser. Monday, August 10, 2009. Home Port.St. Paul Yacht Club. As we approach the SPYC her idle speed decides to increase to about 1600 RPM and will not go lower. It makes for an interesting initial docking. After a few approahes, some club members help us at the dock and she comes in without any new dock dings. At the end of the day, Mojito's newest boat buddy Jaida (my grandchild) makes an inspection tour and quickly grabs the helm. On the day of her splash.
