The role and function of the BBOP Secretariat is to coordinate and execute the program of work of BBOP under the guidance of the Advisory Group, and particularly its Executive Committee. The Secretariat proposes workplans, prepares meetings and their agendas, drafts documents and raises funds to undertake the work. Forest Trends and Wildlife Conservation Society provide the Secretariat for BBOP.
