Education, politics and observations from Sanford. School board agenda posted. The Lee County Board of Education. Posted this morning its agenda. For tonight’s 6 pm meeting at the Lee County Government Center. There are several items of interest. Will give an update about the district’s allocation of state money, as well as talk about a planned partnership with Progress Energy. To apply for an energy-savings grant. An agreement with Paxton/Patterson. September 8, 2009. Lee County Board of Commissioners.

The finance and personnel committee made the recommendation after meeting last month. The bank will renew the contract with no changes for the coming year. September 9, 2009. LCS Board of Education.
