For a nominal annual fee you are entitled to membership to the Student Teachers' Auxiliary which includes:. Monthly workshops on various pedagogy related topics. We are a group of enthusiastic new music teachers who are eager to learn from and interact with music professionals in the community. We are students who meet monthly to share our teaching ideas and experiences. We are advanced (RCM Grade 10 or Diploma level) music students who wish to further our musical development through the practice of teaching. Requirements - BCRMTA STA

You must be at a RCM Grade 10 level or higher including theory requirements. You must be currently studying with a member of the Vancouver Branch of the BC Registered Music Teachers’ Association. You must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Once a degree or diploma is granted, membership is valid for up to four more years. Membership is valid for up to seven years in total, not necessarily in succession. Attendance is expected at a minimum of seven of the ten planned events.
