Mdash;—写在中国人民抗日战争胜利 70周年之际. 不断的从武汉派飞机轰炸常德城， “跑警报 ”. 据我少年时的记忆，被炸最惨者有 城中心区今家润多、步步高后面至原水星楼城墙下的大片房屋均被炸毁，其中有以典雅著称的同昌祥药号、正隆药行等古窨子屋群及傅元益酱厂周围众多特色店铺 原常德府衙大院 后为武陵区政府办公楼及宿舍区 建筑虽已陈旧，但古风古韵犹存，在此场灾难中，除府衙正堂外，尽被炸毁 城北地区的原三板桥、银房巷、独狮子民房 今市政府后面 几乎被夷为平地 城东区原西围墙武陵花园 即今公墓、四中、卫校、方家巷、小高山巷、下东湖巷 周边大片建筑炸得所剩无几 城西原文庙以东至衣服巷以西房屋被炸得东倒西歪，惨不忍睹 原老关庙西侧至黄金台和四眼井、泮池街、葫芦口一带也炸成了断壁残垣 西门外的渔父中学一带也毁在轰炸之中。 虎贲 ” 部队进驻常德后，在原守军备战的基础上又强化了战前准备。 所谓北撤城墙，是指前守军将北面自城濠湾至原桃林宾馆后墙的城墙内外砖块撤除，只剩一道墙心土堤，是为了所谓 “焦土抗战 ”“. 人们闻枪声便奔向名叫 “义渡 ”.
