I know they're not ducks, but they do hang around together, and the Mergansers are SO skittish that it took some time to get their pics, especially with the light and reflections in the water just right. Royal Enfield of Dreams. Sunday, September 8, 2013. I met this fellow when I was in Chaudi, southern Goa, at the Saturday market there. The bike was a number of decades old, and he had lovingly declared her 'Rosinante', the steed of Don Quixote. India 2014: Mumbai! On the way home.

Monday, March 3, 2014. On the way home. Our last stop this year was in Mumbai. I usually spend as little time as needed there, but this year allocated a couple days more for Anne to get a sampling of the place, since her last visit was in 1995/96 when we travelled around with the boys for that winter. Saturday, July 20, 2013. A few pics from a morning wander. Spent a few hours in Beacon Hill Park the other day. Lots of sunshine and birds and tourists.lovely day. I will add some more pics from the stop later, plus add a few duck pics on the duck blog. Note that all but one of these pics had some processing with Photomatix Pro (HDR software) and then Photoshop to clean up parts of the images. Note that all images can be 'embiggend' by clicking on them. Talk about a bad hair day! Back to India - 2007.
