A catalogue of clumsiness and ineptitude
Beagle's Blog: May 2014
http://beaglebrown.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A catalogue of clumsiness and ineptitude. Sunday, May 04, 2014. Give us a clue. I played a game with the boys this morning which involved at some point Leo drawing some pictures and me and Zachary trying to guess what they were. Here's his sheet -. The first one he drew was the middle top shape which Zachary correctly guessed was a door. The next one he drew caused a bit of confusion - it's the one over on the right, sort of on its own. Can you guess? Apparently it's a person disguised as a door! These a...

Beagle's Blog: August 2013
http://beaglebrown.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
A catalogue of clumsiness and ineptitude. Saturday, August 31, 2013. We have just returned from a lovely few days at the Sherwood Forest Center Parcs - swimming, archery, adventure golf, boating, the works! We were there on the mid-week stay, Monday to Friday and it was just right - if we had been there any longer I would have been forced to clean the bathroom and vacuum! Oh and wash the shower towels which never quite managed to fully dry each day - bit damp! The boys want to go back. Again! This was a ...
Beagle's Blog: Goodbye Princess Peach
http://beaglebrown.blogspot.com/2014/04/goodbye-princess-peach.html
A catalogue of clumsiness and ineptitude. Wednesday, April 09, 2014. We have had another chicken death in the family. Leigh discovered Princess Peach last night when he went out to make sure the chickens were sleeping in the right part of their house. She had always been the smallest and lightest of the chickens, but a beautiful white and usually very perky and nosy. Her moult this year was the most dramatic and the worst thing is that we hadn't even noticed anything was wrong. View my complete profile.

A catalogue of clumsiness and ineptitude. Sunday, April 20, 2014. After a bit of a rainstorm this morning, the weather cleared a little in the afternoon and we managed to have our annual egg hunt at our friends' house - such fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Slightly deranged just back to work mum with two very energetic boys to chase after! View my complete profile. After a bit of a soaking! Me and the boys. Something Yum....: September 2006
http://somethingyum.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. Since last writing, the garden has come on in leaps and bounds with things actually growing and looking planty, except the mouldy tomatoes. Due to a rather large spider threatening to pull me into his web, I cannot reach the runner beans at the moment, but they look nice from a distance and I am sure all the insects are having a jolly nice feed. Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. Ich mochte einen gemischtes eis bitte. Well what a hoot. Success has been ours and my future housemate N and I have managed to find ourselves a nice little place in Norwich to rent. To celebrate I had a few of the ladies over for food and trial by food, sherry and lots of squealing for N. She joined in like a trooper and I am looking forward to having her as a housemate. Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. Ah absolute bliss. I'd had a rather stressful day at the office on Friday and had called the OH requesting a much needed visit to the pub for that night - I needed a lot of beer, sun and the hum of sunny days conversation. However, what a surprise! The boyfriend calls me back and says, let's go for a picnic by thr river - we know a great little spot. Links to this post. Oh well, enjoy. Links to this post. Something Yum....: Something Yum!
http://somethingyum.blogspot.com/2009/08/something-yum.html
Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. I have a gorgoeus new nephew. He's all wrinkly and looks like an old man but he is so gorgeous , gorgeous, gorgeous! Weighing a healthy 7lb and 10oz he arrived on Wednesday 5th at 10.16am by C-section (are you really supposed to be able to wiggle your feet once they've done an injection? Dr said that too.). You must be lunch? Ok, I'll poo on you. Revenge is stinky) Brilliant! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The new english kitchen.
Something Yum....: October 2007

Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. What becomes of the broken hearted. Do you remember that song? I think it was the Drifters and I used to hum along to it when I was a kid without really thinking. But what does become of them? Well, they go off cooking, don't buy cookbooks and food shopping is no longer a necessity. The hours spent trawling the aisles at deli's and supermarkets is reduced to a late night when I can be bothered. One day, I'll make a cake for him again.
Something Yum....: Cottonwool weather
http://somethingyum.blogspot.com/2009/08/cottonwool-weather.html
Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. It's been a long time since I last posted. I've moved house (again), felt a bit sad (again), sort of moved on, eaten food, gone off food, cooked food and looked at food. All in all quite normal for a foodie. Oh and books, there have been a lot of books (Neil Perry's Balanace and Harmony is my most recent purchase). Maybe that's why I'm tired? Hmmmm, I'm off to sunny Morrocco in September, I am so excited. You know why? And he said 'euuuuggghh!
Something Yum....: July 2006

Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. It's a bugs life. Well the courgette plant slowly crept up behind it's neighbouring bed fellows and grew over night. In the last few weeks it has overtaken most of the veg bed (now a courgette bed) and is producing flowere left right and centre. Great - so what is the ideal length to pick them? My book says 10 - 13cm, but that seems very small - should they not be a bit bigger? Is it just fashion speaking? Links to this post. Links to this post.

Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. Below is a post I wrote some time ago but never published. I am a rational human being but the sentiments are the same - I am still feeling all rubbish for failing at something and generally having a bad time - there the guilt of a Catholic girl; why do we always blame our moral upbringings (very useful for when you have kids, not so good for when you develop a complex)? Here's the ranty bit (you have been warned):. Links to this post. Somebody on...

Cooking adventures and lots of other yum life adventures. I've been tagged - Fantastic Four! My first ever - how exciting. Nick at. Popped it over to me and I have to say I feel very excited. Not only because it's a tag for a meme and I have seen many of these in the blogging world and have always wondered about them, but because a fellow blogger actually knows that I exist! Now that is exciting - people, I live and love in the blogging world. With a break down of other people's answers. Ok, I haven't li...
