Knightmares: Remedial Remedies
http://midknightmares.blogspot.com/2012/11/remedial-remedies.html
Is my dream of a hero and his quest for love. And in this dream I have to do things that scare me. And these are my Knightmares. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Friday, November 2, 2012. I find myself being told to stop worrying about the details and just do it. That the only person who needs to approve my work is myself. I need to just get down to business and create the monster. I attempt to excuse myself from excuses by justifying reasons instead. The truth: I am lazy and creatively distracted. Ideas expre...

Beast's Recipes!: Irish Brown Bread
http://beasts-recipes.blogspot.com/2012/03/irish-brown-bread.html
Here is a collection of my favourite recipes, and random ones I've gathered through time. Enjoy! Monday, March 19, 2012. A couple of years ago I made my first loaf of Irish Soda Bread for an SCA event I attended, and instantly fell in love. I loved the thick, hearty texture and simple, yet complex, flavor. It’s perfect for toasting and slathering with butter and jam, to soak up extra broth from your favorite stew or to eat as a quick grab-a-snack! 1 cup 1½ teaspoons whole wheat flour. 189; teaspoon salt.

Beast's Ogham: Ogham Prayer Beads
http://beasts-ogham.blogspot.com/2012/09/ogham-prayer-beads.html
The Ogham is explored here as a tool not only for writing, but also for divination. Friday, September 28, 2012. I was trying to figure out a way to meditate on the Ogham, the meanings, the aspects, and how to develope them into My everyday life, when I came up with the idea of a prayer necklace. Similar to the Catholic rosary, this one is custom made for the Ogham. Each bead is touched in the process of the following "prayer". On the Medallion, say the Druid's Prayer:. I arise today through a mighty stre...

Beast's Recipes!: Bacon Fritatta!
http://beasts-recipes.blogspot.com/2012/10/bacon-fritatta.html
Here is a collection of my favourite recipes, and random ones I've gathered through time. Enjoy! Monday, October 1, 2012. What's better than the aroma of a freshly baked fritatta on a fall morning? Fresh coffee and English Muffin bread to go with it, of course! This recipe could very easily be made vegetarian, simply by omitting the bacon. Sacrilege, I know, but not everyone eats meat. Half pound bacon, chopped. 1 green bell pepper. 4 medium Roma tomatoes. Shake or two of basil. 2 cups shredded cheese.

Beast's Recipes!: March 2012
http://beasts-recipes.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Here is a collection of my favourite recipes, and random ones I've gathered through time. Enjoy! Monday, March 26, 2012. This is another of my Gram's recipes that I have loved for many, many years. The original recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour. I have substituted this for 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour and 3/4 cups ground oats. I find this adds another layer of oat flavor and a better texture to the cake. This typically disappears rather quickly! 1 1/2 cup boiling water. 1 cup Brown Sugar.
