Runnin' With The Dogs: August 2010
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
DHG posted on the Penalty Box this morning (and. That tUMD has a new recruit, Kyle Osterberg. Kyle played for Lakeville South, but will now be with the USNTDP. He is a centre, left handed, and Heisenberg has him listed as 5'7, 150. Perhaps his name is actually Kyle Connolly? He will be joining us in 2012. Anyone have any other information on Mr. Osterberg they would like to share with the class? I'm sorry, this isn't very nice, but this picture (from the official arena site. Ah well, the real one will lo...

Runnin' With The Dogs: Hail to the Victors
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2011/04/hail-to-victors.html
Hail to the Victors. We heard that horrible song enough this weekend, but at the end of the night there was one song playing, and it was the UMD ROUSER! Let's talk about our victors. We fans are never going to know what it's like to be out there, playing in the game, being on the team, actually doing what was necessary to put the puck in the net or keep it out of our own net. So, a few words for each of you, though you all deserve epic poems. Right now, you're all My Guys. There were hundreds, possibly t...

Runnin' With The Dogs: September 2010
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
So we only have 8 days until hockey begins! Actually, it's not. Everyone else gets to play some ancient Canadian senior league team. We do not. Annoying. But I've gotta pick my guys! They need to be prepared for next week! And we've got some new guys! I think I've decided to throw my "no freshmen" rule out the window. Obviously. Since I've picked a freshman Guy three years in a row. All right, Guys, you've got your assignments, now go out and kick some butts! 94X WCHA Media Poll. Know of my clairvoyance.

Runnin' With The Dogs: Spring Awakening
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2011/04/spring-awakening.html
I did have a little kissy-kissy session with the trophy. Wheeee! With my horrible hair. Yikes Scariness. Good thing it's a little blurry. Then I started talking to Ginger Goalie Gaffy about his hair and somehow that ended up as a discussion of my horrible hear and how it was breaking off. Which it is, I really ruined it, whatever, that's not the point, who the heck wants to actually hear about that? It's like talking about picking scabs or foot fungus or something. I should not be let out in public.

Runnin' With The Dogs: March 2011
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Be afraid. Be very afraid. Why think about that when all the golden land's ahead of you and all kinds of unforeseen events wait lurking to surprise you and make you glad you're alive to see? The yellow brick road. The road not taken. The long and winding road. The road to redemption. Whatever we're on here, it's a helluva ride. And we closed down our rink in style. We won a marathon 3OT game. We had a player put up five goals on the southern branch of our school. We never got swept, never los...TUMD had ...

Runnin' With The Dogs: December 2010
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
What an awful, awful way to end 2010. The opening game at AMSoil Arena had no redeeming qualities. There were no positives to the game. I do not have a single good thing to say about the game. It was an embarrassment to the program and an affront to the fans. The entire team is On Notice. Do NOT make me send you to the Humane Society of the WCHA. If you don't get adopted, you might get euthanized. Make it a happy new year for your fans, boys. You owe us and you owe yourselves. Humane Society of the WCHA.

Runnin' With The Dogs: May 2011
http://runninwiththedogs.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Huh, how about that? Nearly a month has gone by since our lives were made complete. Let's wrap up a few things. First, College Hockey Armageddon appears to have passed us by. Scary Princeton Coach is going to go to Nouveau Riche University instead of our coach, who somehow still does not have a contract. Dear Bob, get it done or I am not sending you ANY MONIES. Michigan Tech has a new coach, too. Some Michigan person. Clearly he's trading up by going to the WCHA. RWD awards for the season:. I'm contempla...
