Monday, July 6, 2009. A chinese rejection slip. I have been reading a book called. A Writer's Commonplace Book. By Rosemary Friedman. This is a book of quotes written by authors on how to write. I think this would be a marvelous rejection to get either on a paper that needs more work or a book I want published. (Most first time authors are rejected several times before they get published). Monday, November 22, 2010. Yesterday in Sacrament meeting a new sister in our ward gave a talk on gratitude. She expressed many ideas that I had never heard before. I took notes on her talk then went home and pulled up the talks that she used as reference. I thought I would bullet some of the main points and scriptures here so that I could share them with you. This weekend my sister came to visit and we had a blast. While she was here we tried this new doughnut place called Beyond the Glaze located at 54 West 700 South, Salt Lake City. What makes these doughnuts so unique is how they are mostly just glazed doughnuts but have amazing toppings that give them there flavor. I got this one for Bruce it was a German Chocolate. But my favorite had to be the Raspberry Mango! I love finding new places to eat specially when they are SO delicious! March 7, 2011 at 6:23 AM.

This is a good quick cake to make and it is yummy too! 1 pkg yellow cake mix w/pudding in the mix. 1 can mandarin orangesn w/juice. 1/2 c sour cream. Mix cake according to directions of box, adding oranges, (use juice from oranges water to make 1 cup liquid). Bake and cool. Frost cake, then refrigerate, garnish with mandarin oranges and sprigs of mint. 1 sm package vanilla instant pudding. 2 6oz can crushed pineapple w/juice. 1 8oz carton cool whip. I made this cake with my friend Hollie today. We had so much fun and I cannot wait to eat it! 1/2 C Natural unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 C Lukewarm water, divided. 1 1/2 C cake flour. 3/4 t baking soda. 1/2 (packed) golden brown sugar. 1/2 C (1 stick) butter, room temperature. Bake cakes until tester inserted into center comes out clean (about 18 min. Cool completely in pans on racks. 1 1/3 C golden brown sugar. 1 C milk chocolate chips. 1 C heavy whipping cream. 2 t vanilla extract.
