Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Rob's Story. in a nutshell. Rob then continued to follow the advice of his doctors and underwent brachyradiation therapy in St. Louis and came home to Las Vegas. In Vegas, he went through 1 month of external beam radiation. (We have since learned that this treatment caused the cancer to grow and spread more rapidly than ever). June 23, 2011 at 4:41 PM. Monday, July 18, 2011. Rob was released from MD Anderson Hospital in Houston today. Tomorrow at 9 am he has an appointment with Dr. Burzynski. Who is also in Houston.
