A Slice of Life. Thursday, December 12, 2013. Thanksgiving Trip Part 1. Just a few weeks ago we took our annual 10 day Thanksgiving trip. We always get a house/cabin with my dad's side of the family the weekend before Thanksgiving for three nights then make our way to Omaha for a few days of fun with Luke's family. While in Nebraska we celebrate Christmas (because we're not together then), Thanksgiving and our nephew Jackson's birthday. It's truly one of my favorite weeks of the year! My sweet nephew Ben.

A Slice of Life. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. God is GOOD and FAITHFUL! We praise HIM for this precious boy and all He has done to bring us to this point. (More about that coming later.). Our precious baby boy was born Monday night. We didn't learn about him until yesterday and it's been a whirlwind since! He was 6 weeks early and 3 lbs 15 oz and 17.7 inches. He is in the NICU but doing well - breathing on his own and has even taken a few bottles! I will update more as I can.. Wednesday, July 20, 2011.

Saturday, October 24, 2009. Cooper at the dentist. Cole Mason at the dentist! Carter Jaykin at the dentist. October 16th -18th we traveled to Carbondale Illinois and rented a cabin for the weekend. The church we worked with when we lived there was having a 60 year anniversary. Ryan's parent came up for the weekend and stayed with us. Where Feet May Fail: Part One. This is not the post you were originally going to get. To start, life has been so hectic lately. Ryan has been working his behind off all summer; between mowing and his normal duty week, he is never home. I don't know how he does it and I am so thankful that I have a husband that works so hard to provide for his (future) family! I haven't been on a river since I moved to Oklahoma in 2003!
