Why are you awake at such an ungodly hour? I'm getting myself ready for working nights. While it's just my practicum (*scoffs*-JUST my practicum), I am thinking that this is going to help me prepare for the inevitable night shift that I will have as a new graduate after taking the NCLEX next month. How the hell did that happen?

Monday, July 6, 2009. Is one of the strangest experiences I have ever had. Now, don't get me wrong. I love my kids. I love them more than anything in the entire world and I am so lucky to have them. But last night, while I was showering the poo off me from Jake's most recent blowout, I realized that being a mother is the most disgusting and thankless job ever. So I got out of the shower, toweled off, got in clean clothes, and the baby spit up all over me. Truly, there are more good days than bad days.

He is home now and doing a lot better and has even went back to work, but it's scary to know that you can be that way and have no symptoms whatsoever.
