Thursday, July 3, 2008. Megan and I went to the Portland City Grill, which is a restaurant on the 30th floor. It has an amazing view of the entire city. Thursday, June 19, 2008. So, I've been in Portland almost 3 weeks now and I am absolutely loving it! My roommate arrived about a week after I did and we've been exploring the city non-stop. There are so many things to do that I feel like I'll never be able to see and do everything! Which is a far cry from Kansas). Here are some of my favorite finds so far: Voodoo Doughnuts. They're open 24 hours! A restaurant up on the 30th floor! Amazing view of the entire city! And, of course Powell's Books.

Friday, March 6, 2009. The kids have been practicing to be in a play that was put together by several homeschooled 13 years old girls. It was a different take on Romeo and Juliet that changed the story to be about cats and dogs. The play went pretty well! I basically told her about the good news project and thanked her for doing something good, and giving me some good news to share.
