The house has been in pretty good shape, minus another incident where my mouse has had babies under my mattress. This is a time right now of many changes, as some of my closest friends are COSing (closing their service) and a new group is swearing-in this week. In September, a new group of GEE and NRM Volunteers will arrive, marking our one-year in country point. Excursion out of Kampala 7 November 2010. 8212; mjcassidy @ 2:47 am. Uganda, East Africa. Last Saturday, I took a short excursion out of Kampala to where the equator crosses the road, which is not all that exciting actually but its nice to get out of the city … even if just for a few hours. Local stools for sale on the side of the road. Drums for sale (I actually bought a few). The sun can be brutal. Standing the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. African masks for sale. Headed back to Kampala.
