We have a new knitnighter. Sadly I am not there as I type because HusbandBob is mansick. However, knitnightbarry will fit right in after this awesome Facebook exchange between several of our knitnighters. It also proves that the term "balls of yarn" is funny in any language. If you’re lucky, you spend your first 20 years being taken care of and learning to take care of yourself. For some of us that takes us well into our thirties. After that you spend the next twenty years (plus or minus twenty) taking care of others. Is it just a matter of “Do not go gently into that dark night”? I amend the above.

I had one good (not husband) friend and the primary basis of that friendship early on was that canceling plans was allowed if there was excess anxiety on either side. I remove all brown flowers and all leaves that are spotted or soft. Even if all the leaves are perfect I gently cut some out when the pot seems crowded.
