Sunday, February 28, 2010. Today we had the coolest hail storm that I've seen in a long time. It came down fast and left hail all over the ground, almost looking like snow. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Our loving Papa has left us. He took his last steps as he walked into the Mission Respite Center. On Thursday, June 25th. Friday, October 3, 2014. Summer is Finally Over! Summer is officially over. The kayaks are put away.and we're ready for fall. I keep asking myself what keeps me busy. I never seem to have enough time to blog. The corn season has officially ended. The garden vegetables have been dug and stored for winter. Canning, freezing and preserving are completed. The raspberry and blackberry canes are cut back. The leaves are beginning to fall. But one thing does not end.and that's family. She loves the outdoors.

In September 1973, I married John and soon there after I became a partner in the family business. I had always heard of all the parties that the Bartel families had entertained prior to my time.
