From protestant to skeptic to the ancient faith. The Purpose of Sacrifice. July 24, 2010. That I have been reading Surprised by Christ. Christ is a sacrifice by God on behalf of humanity, taking humanity’s penalty for sin upon himself, and propitiating God’s wrath. Becoming Orthodox †: Was Jesus Christ Born With A Sin Nature And Original Sin?

http://www.becomingorthodox.com/2012/12/was-jesus-christ-born-with-sin-nature.html

Monday, December 31, 2012. Was Jesus Christ Born With A Sin Nature And Original Sin? Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Original Sin is the belief that every human being inherits guilt at conception as a result of Adam’s first (original) sin in the garden. Oftentimes this concept of Original Sin guilt is used interchangeably with "sin nature" albeit wrongly. As we saw in our last post. Jesus was 100% human and 100% God. So if He was actually 100% man, and. Human Nature was fractur...

Becoming Orthodox †: The Humanness of Jesus

http://www.becomingorthodox.com/2012/12/the-humanness-of-jesus.html

Wednesday, December 26, 2012. The Humanness of Jesus. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Mary This is the entire reason a human vessel was necessary. To deny ...

Monday, January 14, 2013. My First Visit To An Orthodox Church (Liturgy). Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I stood there unsure of what to do.
