Home Brewing in NC: June 2012
http://nchomebrew.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Home Brewing in NC. A chronicle of the attempts at making quality homemade beer. Sunday, June 17, 2012. A friend of mine bought me a Perlick stainless steel tower faucet for my birthday back in May. I had been having issues with leaks with the faucet that came with the kegerator pretty much since I got it. Both the faucet and elbow shank were original to the fridge and were honestly just worn out. I bought a new elbow shank and installed the faucet on the tower yesterday. It works great! Until Next Time,.

There are a few things I will probably do different next time. 5 gallons Apple Juice. 1 pound Light Brown Sugar. 1 pack Champagne yeast. 4 ounces Oak Chips. Home Brewing in NC: August 2012
http://nchomebrew.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Home Brewing in NC. A chronicle of the attempts at making quality homemade beer. Saturday, August 11, 2012. For those of you who keep up with this blog, you know that I'm brewing beer for a friend's wedding in January. We decided that one of the beers should be a very light and mild beer for those who are "casual" beer drinkers, so I decided to brew a blonde as a trial. Here's hoping it turns out to be what we're looking for. It was incredibly easy. 66 pounds Light LME. 1 pound Light DME. ABV of about 6%.
