Stopping at Home Sweet Home last night left us about 2 miles further to go today, but the campsite was well worth it. The first 1/4 mile was a sharp climb to the top of First Divide pass (4688 ft), and the view was nice! Dad had the watch tho, so I won’t swear by my guesses. In short order of leaving, we quickly found the trail being swallowed by marshy sections, where our best option was usually to cross the marsh, and search the far side for signs of trail. Not long into this day, you know what we saw? Dad coming to the top of Six Ridge.
