Monday, November 21, 2011. DC Day 3 - Exploring. In the morning Nick and I went to the Art History Museum by ourselves. We knew the kids would be bored out of their minds so our friends were nice enough to watch them for a few hours. It was nice to spend some time by ourselves. Both of us really love art. Nick a lot more than me but my favorite are sculptures. I could look at them all day. This was Nick's doing. Both of them love animals, cars and airplanes. Checking out the history of dinosaurs. :).

Thursday, February 21, 2013. Charlie sleeps in his crib for the first time.at 3 months! Good thing Madelyn doesn't remember that she only spent 2 nights in our bedroom! I lay him down awake. And he falls asleep on his own! He has done great sleeping in his room! First time in this contraption. I thought he was going to be too floppy still, but he loved it! Madelyn is such a great helper! I took pictures while she changed his diaper completely on her own. Aftervery proud of herself :). A few cute photos:.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012. But first some other pics. Madelyn got her hair chopped off! First time ice skating! She and Clint went while I hung out with Charlie and took pics. She loved it and wants to go again! Charlie watching the ice skating. So cute in his towel after bath. My cousin, or "Aunt Heather", came to town for the sip 'n see and got to stay for several days! Tuesday, August 14, 2012. We went to Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma with the Obenhaus family. They have two little girls and Rachel is pregnant also so we had the same vacation constraints :) We decided on an outdoorsy trip, well in a nice cabin that is! When we first drove up. Was cancelled due to a scheduled mishap at the hospital. it was then rescheduled to the following Thursday. then the "well streak" was stopped in its tracks when a fever descended. On our family. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Madelyn's Music Recital and Pre-K Graduation. She had a little solo on this part :). Her teacher, Ms. Anita. The girls performed a princess dance! We had an Easter egg hunt with friends! Then spent Easter weekend in Lubbock. Charlie was mostly dying his hands! And he thought the clean-up was the best part! Friday, May 2, 2014. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Our house is done being painted! The only painting left is fauxing the cabinets and any touch-up that has to be done. Thank goodness! This is crunch month for us. We hope to be done in 5 weeks. Most of the house got painted Kilim Beige. The Keeping and Study were painted Aloof Grey. More kitchen. 3 Dogs and a Baby. Thursday, July 12, 2012. Look who went to the groomer. Kate is finally over hand-foot-mouth disease, for good (we hope)! I feel like she has had it forever, but in reality it's been weeks ago. She was only contagious for the first few days so she had to stay home from gymnastics a while back and it was pure torture for her! I guess it's a good thing that she likes her activities. My mom said this was completely Kate's idea, everything from her bear's cheerleading outfit down to the pink shoes. Notice he even has pom poms, a very nice touch!
