From the moment they laid him in my arms I knew that my life would never be the same, and I was so grateful it wouldn't be. He sucked his thumb all the way from labor and delivery to the maternity ward. (He first began sucking his thumb as soon as they laid him on my stomach.). We were (are) so mesmerized by him. I don't know about everyone else, but after talking to some of my girl friends, who are also Moms it seems that too often we end up eating what are kids are eating for lunch. Unfortunately, what the kids are eating isn't any better for them than for us: chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, quesadillas. Mac n'cheese, anything fast food is also usually less than ideal right? 2 Go a whole week with out any fast food, take-out, or frozen lunches. I like this post. I cringe everytime...
