Wednesday, June 30, 2010. På plantefargingskurs, i år som i fjor. Her er vi, alle er spente på hvilken farge Sumak gir. Alle studerer og følger nøye med. For at man skal kunne jobbe lett og greit må man ha nok tilgang på både kjeler og vann. Her er alle kjeler igang, stål og aluminium, sink lar seg ikke benytte. På et annet sted var det også en jerngryte på gang med lav. Her synes endel av resultatene, gult, rødt og blått. Brunt, pasteller og mere fargesterkt i skjønn forening. Troro - the artists behind.

Monday, November 22, 2010. A wonderful winter spinning day. After the trip to Iceland, some unspun wool found its place in the luggage. Today, it was time to start spinning. This wool is coming from the "Moraud" breed (sorry no Islandic fonts at my computer). The nice photo of sheeps is borrowed from an Islandic blog that does not have a name. It was a funny wool to spin, it has beautiful intermingling colours and it gets a little "chunky" when one spins it. Troro - the artists behind.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Colours, colours and colours. Today I felt for doing something.I tried a little bit of this and that, restless me. Late in the day, we started to do mushroom colouring. That is fun and relaxing. We had to try out the use of copper.The casserole is on and the mushrooms are boiling. Here is the colour half way through the boiling process. ملعقة ملح وملعقة فلفل. 1 نضع ماء السلق على النار حتى تغلى ونضع بها معلقة ملح ونص ليمونة ثم نقطع راس الكرنبة وتوضع فى الماء على الجهتين ونبدأ بااخذ الورق الناضج اول بااول حتى نفرغ منها وتقطع تقطيع حسب حجم الملفوفة ويرص. 2 نقطع البصل تقطيع ناعم ثم نضع فوقه الزيت و نضعه على البوتجاز وعندما يصفر نضع الزبدة 3 دقائق ونضع الكمون فوقها على النار ثم نضع الطماطم المعصجه او الصلصة ونغسل الارز جيدا ويقطع الخضار ناعم ويغسل جيدا.
