Last week, my parents and I flew up to Chicago to visit my Grandparents and celebrate Christmas. I love going there to visit my family, eat some of my favorite food and go to all the great shopping spots! I also love when it snows when I visit because we don't get too much snow down in North Carolina, so it makes it a fun treat :). See the outfit I wore downtown in this post. It's been quite some time since I did a Friday Finds post. I've been doing a pretty good job controlling myself when online shopping in college (it's just too fun getting a package in the mail). When I was home for fall break over the weekend I was able to do some shopping at the mall. My absolute favorite things I got were two shirts from the J. Crew x New Balance collection. This past weekend my parents and I took a quick trip to Charleston. Charleston is one of our favorite cities to visit because there are such great restaurants, shopping and history. Three days was the perfect amount of time for a trip there because we are able to do a lot but still have plenty of new stuff for future trips! It was so fun trying out some new restaurants and seeing the historic houses. My mom and I both ordered the barbecue shrimp and grits which was a great twist on the traditional dish.
