Suzanne Bellsnyder: A Tribute to Rain
http://suzannebellsnyder.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-tribute-to-rain.html
Monday, July 28, 2014. A Tribute to Rain. When I was a city girl in Austin, I would curse rain. Rain was inconvenient. Austinites cannot drive in rain and it made my commute from Travis Country to downtown Austin a anxiety driven disaster. Rain was a hassle. It would ruin my fancy, expensive shoes and mess up my well coiffed hair. But now that I live in an agricultural community, and especially one facing an extended drought, I now confess my love for that beautiful water falling from the clouds.

Suzanne Bellsnyder: Day One & A tribute to my ATX Girls
http://suzannebellsnyder.blogspot.com/2013/06/day-one-tribute-to-my-atx-girls.html
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Day One and A tribute to my ATX Girls. Today feels like DAY ONE of an unexpected Chapter in the life of me and my family. Today we begin the packing and planning for a part-move back to the town where I grew up in the Texas Panhandle, a place that is 600 miles away in distance and culturally a world away. I feel a sense of peace about small town life and a slower pace for our family, but I too am sad to physically leave ATX, a town I love! Sunday Brunch at Paggi House in ATX.
