Notify Blogger about objectionable content. What does this mean? The Buenos Aires Experience. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. You have to admire that kind of mischief. There’s no one this lad doesn’t know, and no one he won’t shamelessly sweet-talk to ensure an open-door policy everywhere he goes. I watched him butter up bouncers, wink at barmen, and pump hands across the dance floor as we weaved our way through the sweaty masses. I ran into a former work colleague, now a barrister, still a boozer. And exes kn...

And the delightful Fiona McCann (I knew she would be), put my comment up on her site and wrote this:. A lively exchange between two (or was it just the one all along? Fiona McCanns ensued, as you’d expect really, where we made it clear that neither of us were porn stars or water polo players (for more of this: Fiona McCann. That'd be the Emerge...

Notify Blogger about objectionable content. What does this mean? The Buenos Aires Experience. Wednesday, April 05, 2006. Perhaps from a European perspective, it's much of a muchness. But oh, the world of difference to me now. Every day I have to choose: butter or grease? Because there are two kinds of half-moons in this country (and they never make a whole), and ne'er the twain shall meet (except in my belly). Half-moons, or medialunas. And if they're warm, fresh out of the oven? Afternoon snack) time, w...

backwithoutabang: Surprise!
http://fionadublin.blogspot.com/2007/06/surprise.html
Thursday, June 28, 2007. My mobile phone. A lot. Not proper lostness, just temporary misplacement. Every five minutes or so. Often when I'm about to leave the house. So, every time, I call it from my landline, and when I hear it twittering its location is revealed. Aha! Having suffered similar crushing disappointment by accidentally leaving myself a voicemail trying to find my phone, lost and powerless in the laundry basket, I'm laughing with you on this one. Oh, I think we have all been there! Technolog...

Sunday, October 28, 2007. This time we got to swim. Cold feet, it turns out, warm up pretty quickly by a wood-pellet stove in a round rock house on the Oregon coast. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The Save the Internet. The Buenos Aires Experience.

Sunday, December 31, 2006. Squeef's in the house. Unaccustomed as I am to blogging, me sister has asked me to guest blog. Am feeling very important and yet have nothing to say - it could be due to the fact that many brain cells have been killed over the festive period - and many more to be killed tonight at our New Years Eve/Happy Birthday Dotsy party. The craic we'll have. In fact if only meself and me sister show up we'd still have the craic. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Friday, December 15, 2006. Deck t...

Today Is Cataclysmic: March 2005

In widescreen. Including special features and interviews with cast. Are you feeling me is this thing on? Ah, and that's what it's all about, isn't it? Being the best YOU can be. Or, the army wants YOU. Me? The army wants me? Some potential employer traced this huuuuuuge mismanagement of time to its creatorette? ARGH Incidentally, the filename is a non-issue because I always change it to something important (like my name, my name is super important) before I send it as an attachment. Ha! Shouts the exuber...

Sarahcontrary: July 2009
http://sarahcontrary.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 18, 2009. Life is full of questions I hadn't expected to need to answer. For example, what do you put in a nursery? 160;We've moved the spare bed out of the spare room and into the attic, so that's a good start - there is now room for other furniture in there. Matt's going to do a bit of a paint job and we're getting Little Miss and Mr Men stickers to go on the wall, so it will look like a room for a baby. Planning for a baby is really quite puzzling. Sunday, July 12, 2009. I've also bee...

Sarahcontrary: March 2010
http://sarahcontrary.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 13, 2010. I have always hated baby on board signs in cars. They suggest either that parents think you need to know they have a baby so you make a special effort not to crash into them (because it's ok to maim or kill the childfree in a car accident) or to warn you that they are going to drive badly due to being distracted. I still don't plan on having one. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). So I thought I'd write a blog about what I think about and my friends can read it too. That's all.
