Steve taylor seeking a sustain-if-able spirituality with God/self/people/place/culture : in process : all thoughts personal and provisional. Laquo; innovation in teaching ANZATS paper. Friday, July 03, 2015. Today is a second day of study leave, a few days in which I am seeking to write about, and reflect upon, my learnings in leadership from recent years of ministry. The Old Testament lectionary reading for today, and in particular four phrases, proves strangely clarifying. I will stand at my watch-post.

Laquo; valuing empirical research in the study of fresh expressions. Sunday, July 19, 2015. A “working” holiday – run: write: relax: renovate. The last week has been “working” holiday. It’s been rich and intense. The week followed a daily pattern – Run. Write. Relax. Renovate. It’s a pattern I’d recommend. In regard to renovate. And the return to New Zealand. I̵...

I was actually pleasantly surprised! Firstly on a personal level I found some of the discussion quite interesting - interfaith conversations I feel are going to become a more necessary and frequent part to our faith communities. I think there is a lot to learn from other faiths without having to feel threatened by others faith. Secondly and perhaps most surprisingly, was a presentation about. Radio Salaam Shalom is an internet radio station click. To read more about it! I would recommend it! On Saturday ...

MootBlog: Poem - The Godhead by Peter Thomas
http://moot-blog.blogspot.com/2008/05/poem-godhead-by-peter-thomas.html
Thursday, May 8, 2008. Poem - The Godhead by Peter Thomas. There’s no triumvirate, nor trinity. No spirit, father, son all three). In me, that oversee, that hold sway;. That prick delay and harness haste. And govern all my ways. From morose to delirious. Not three, but two:. These bedfellows with twin thrones. In my head and heart and bones. Are rulers over me. And when there’s peace. When they make love. No matter how painful. But when they’re at odds. When they’re unstable. A Cain and Abel. Poem - The ...

http://moot-blog.blogspot.com/2008/04/you-dig-tunnel-ill-hide-soil.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. You Dig the Tunnel, I'll Hide the Soil. This morning I had the good fortune to be invited to the White Cube. Gallery to hear an introduction of the current exhibition (as above) by the Director of the Gallery. They currently have a group exhibition in the gallery and the new basement of Shoreditch Town Hall. The exhbition draws on the work of Edgar Poe - who I remember from my teens. His writings are very dark, drawing on mythic imagery of the shadow-side of life. One for the D...

MootBlog: Affluenza
http://moot-blog.blogspot.com/2008/04/affluenza.html
Friday, April 11, 2008. I've just hit page 47, and there was something really good on most pages so far. I would recommend this book to anyone. In my opinion is should be read on a nice sunny morning in your back garden with a massive cup of tea and a pack of chocolate digestives, listening to the sound of dutch birds singing and neighbours chatting over the fence to each other.
