About the boxing octopus. That is not the name I would give it. I would call it, “OMG I JUST SAW JESUS granola,” it’s that good. Or maybe, “300 calories for half a cup ain’t so bad, is it? Since I decided to take the morning to myself rather than reading, writing, or grading (or watching Friday Night Lights, boo! I decided to try out this recipe with adaptations that suit my tastes and pantry. 3 c old-fashioned rolled oats. 3/4 c shredded coconut. 1 c sliced almonds. 2 T toasted wheat germ. 2 T flax seeds.

Jan got: crispy fried wonton, garlic shrimp and scallops, white rice, wonton in spicy peanut sauce, grapes, wasabi peas in Hello Kitty container, cute mushroom cookies, and a Ferrero Rocher dark chocolate truffle. Saturday, September 25, 2010. My Parents came to Japan! The picture below is my dad eating chicken sternum (the bone/cartilage in your chest). Gross! On Monday we headed down to Kyoto. Kyoto was really cool and much more traditional looking compared to Tokyo. The only downside was it was so hot! The second day we went to some temple that I can't remember the name of (mom if you remember can you remind me! It was really pretty and my mom made me and my dad do this really cool pose in one of the archways.

Friday, November 26, 2010. I know you will be shocked to here this but. I went to Disney again. It is Christmas season after all and I NEEDED to see the decorations! Having seen pictures of Disney in America at this time of year I had very high hopes. Let's just say it didn't live up to my expectations. The trip was fantastic but the decorations were sub par. Monday, July 26, 2010. Some of you may remember that when I turned 23 I decided to make 24 goals before I turned 24. I only ever completed about half of them and never documented it. So. I decided to try again. I'm hoping that posting it on my blog will keep me more accountable. Since I turn 25 tomorrow I'm making 26 goals before I turn 26.
