Friday, August 17, 2012. First Day of School. It's the unofficial end of summer.School has started! This year not only am I sending the boys off, but Eva will also be going to Preschool two days a week :(. Eva went to her first day of school on Tuesday. She was very excited which made it much easier for me to leave her. She's attending PreK-3 at the church we attend so that does make her more comfortable and I'm happy to have a few "spies" in the building who pop in, check on her and text me pictures!

As I stated in an earlier post, Eva was originally scheduled to have her first surgical procedure on her eyes this Thursday, March 8th but due to insurance issues we have had to postpone that surgery until Thursday, May 3rd. At first insurance was telling us, the hospital, our insurance agent, etc. that Eva's condition was not covered and that NONE of her surgeries would be paid for by them! Friday, March 2, 2012. It was Emily's first pro game and she had a lot of fun cheering the Bolts on. Unfortunately we lost to the Panthers 5-3 but Marty St. Louis did secure the Art Ross trophy for having the most points in the league. Her 1st Lightning game and sweater. Friday, December 28, 2012. Starting the Journey Home. Today is our last day in Guangzhou and we are taking it easy. We are all packed and ready to go. We leave today at 4:15 to head to Hong Kong by van, it will be a long ride but it is the best option as we will get to the hotel at a reasonable hour. The fact that the van literally provides door to door service makes it even better ;o). Our next post will likely be from home so bye for now. We have arrived at the hotel in one piece!
