The Cancer Warrior: April 2013
http://thecancerwarrior.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Cause I love that dirty water. Photo above by Jessica Rinaldi/Reuters. Boston. Everyone's city. At least after the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15th. I went to college in Boston. Spent 4 amazing years there. Ok I grew up in New Hampshire, 2 hours away from Boston. So I graduated somewhere in the middle of the pack. College in Boston. Our dorms were in Back Bay, on Comm ave, just 5 blocks from the Common. I heard on the radio there were explosions near the finish line.

Living with breast cancer in my twenties: February 2010
http://emily-livingwithbreastcancer.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Living with breast cancer in my twenties. I was diagnosed with breast cancer just after my 29th birthday last year. I found the lump by accident as I never examined myself. I like many people thought I was invincible. I have had a mastectomy and have undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy and am taking hormone treatment for the next 5 years. The worst is now over and I am waiting for my reconstruction. Monday, 1 February 2010. Its great to have choices in life but it doesn't half make my life less simple.

Beth's blog: November 2009
http://bethmortonsblog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. When am I going back to work? Not complaining, but just listing the things that still 'bug' me:. All 10 toes are numb (pins and needles feeling). Fingertips sometimes get that lack of feeling too (especially right baby finger). Right arm gets achey and tires easily. Right underarm still sore from radiation burn. Still a little sore where port was removed. Fingernails have those ridges and can get brittle (but not nearly as bad as other fingernails I've seen). I was at the de...

Beth's blog: October 2009
http://bethmortonsblog.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 30, 2009. I'll do another post like this in a couple of weeks because the radiation oncologist says the side effects peak 2 weeks after treatment is completed (since the radiation keeps working for 2 weeks). For now though, I'm doing really well. My skin is pink, and where the scar is, is very tender to touch, but no broken skin or blisters. I'm definitely tired, but that's still leftover chemo too. So really not bad, this treatment has gone by very quickly. Thursday, October 29, 2009.
