Chronicles of a Carolina Girl. Friday, May 8, 2015. Last night was Alexa's senior orchestra concert at her high school. I've known Alexa since she was a sixth grader in the church youth group and have watched her grow and blossom into a beautiful and talented young lady. Her cello solo was during the Lion King medley, so it couldn't have been more perfect, the way we all love Disney music! Today I searched "Monday motivation" for my classes' warm-ups and this one caught my eye:. Hahaha. definitely an accurate #CurrentMood for this morning! Work out, and see Granny. And cuddle with Emmadore 3. This morning I was thinking about the fantastic weekend I had. So memorable and sweet and special. I have to post about it later. I feel like God is about to do something.

Chronicles of a Carolina Girl. Monday, March 30, 2015. Founders' Day - AXO / KO. Tonight, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak at Alpha Chi Omega's chapter meeting about my experience as a founding member of the Kappa Omicron chapter at HPU. Our Founders' Day is tomorrow. I can't believe that it's been three years since we installed our chapter. What an awesome experience it was. I immediately emailed the girl whose contact info was posted, and got a quick response. I will have founding member status.

Chronicles of a Carolina Girl. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Grandma Status and Nuggets From the Word. Two weeks ago today was my half birthday (April 30th). 26.5 is another step closer to 30! Appropriately, coincidentally, and ironically, it was also "senior citizen day" at work for spirit week. 265 seems scary, but I'm excited to see what the next few months will hold, regardless! Chronicles of a Carolina Girl. Thursday, November 27, 2014. It's very very early on Thanksgiving morning - about 2am. We will also be missing a little Beagle that sure did love Thanksgiving. But I thank God I knew such a precious creature and had the privilege of giving her a happy life. And that I will see her running in fields of gold in a red tutu one day.
