My philosophy of teaching is simple. The process must be both fun and effective. As an adult-onset harper myself, I know how challenging the learning process can be and I'm committed to helping my students overcome their individual challenges while having a great time. Working with children, as any parent or teacher knows, presents its own set of joys and obstacles. I love teaching children and young adults to express themselves creatively with music. HARPA 06 is a group of American folk-harpers who came together to perform and teach during a two-week tour in southern Norway and Sweden. (18 photos). Monday, September 22, 2008. Closing Ceremonies and Games wrap-up! I am back in Boston and easily getting over the jet-lag! Now that the Games have ended, we can post any info and pictures. The U.S. Paralympic Swim Team had personal best times in over 90% of our swims and we won the official medal tally (the Gold medal count)! I hope you enjoy the final pictures below!
