Sunday, February 13, 2011. All three of my fans have requested a post. So here it is. Over the past several months I have composed many many eloquent posts for this forum. All in my head. The problem is when I am thus feverishly writing these amazing discourses I am nowhere near my computer. It's usually in the car, the grocery store, or in the shower where brilliance touches my brain. The second hardest part has been the blow to my self esteem, the feeling that I have somehow failed. This has not be...

Precious Purls: December 2009
http://preciouspurls.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 1, 2009. I have a few minutes every morning when I'm the only one stirring. It's nice to have the quiet and time to think. Currently I am wondering if the Who's down in Whoville, the tall and the small, would really start singing with no presents at all? It seems to me in the world we live in today that upon discovering their misfortune they would call the authorities, have the Grinch pursued, prosecuted, and demand restitution. Sometimes I wish I were a Who. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I have been learning some things on my scanner/printer. I have been able to make prints from negatives (35mm) and I can make prints from slides also. I have not done that yet. I have been learning how to make slide shows from my photos also, and have been trying to make dvds of them too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Me and My Little Country Jamya.

Precious Purls: November 2009
http://preciouspurls.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. I always thought I was a winter girl. Having a December birthday I was convinced as a child that winter was really my favorite season. The funny thing is that the highlight of my entire year was going to the store and getting my summer sandals, and my favorite holiday has always been the 4th of July. Winter girl? I love the sunshine.I love the warm weather.I love to swim.I LOVE wearing flip flops every day of the year! I never would have believed it, but I am a summer girl.

Saturday, March 26, 2011. I promise this is an IMPORTANT Yarn Clearance post. Do you see this yarn? It's made out of bamboo. It's addictively soft and the colors are so beautiful, you forget about it being handwash only. You have to just sink your fingers into the skein and nuzzle it against your cheek. SHUT UP, I KNOW YOU DO IT! I moseyed over to Michael's to discover it's ON CLEARANCE! It will soon be no more! At least in the colors that exist. Maybe forever! Thursday, March 24, 2011. What was I saying?

Cazzy Hookin' time: November 2015

My crochet corner of blogland. Wednesday, 25 November 2015. We visited our new granddaughter at the weekend, and I got quite a lot of crochet done. I started making these mittens because it was so cold and I only had wrist warmers with me. I made the pattern up as I went, but sadly ran out of the yarn on Sunday. So today I went to Wilkinsons to buy some more! MIL is now happy and warm, and I guess I will have to make another pair so she can wash one! Does anyone want a step by step on how to make these?
