Sunday, June 7, 2015. Lake Broadwater Conservation Park, Dalby 07/06/15. Family day trip to Lake Broadwater Conservation Park at Dalby. Lake Broadwater is a shallow natural forming lake and the only one of it's kind on the Darling Downs, Queensland. The lake is surrounded by cypress and brigalow and is a haven for waterbirds and wildlife in the trees and grasses surrounding the lake. The lake at times can dry up due to low rainfall, so best to check before you visit. Pacific Black Duck Anas superciliosa.
