We have been studying measurement the last couple of weeks, everything from measurement on a clock to rulers to thermometers. It seems like on of the hardest things for them to grasp has been fractions of an inch. So I think there's something wrong with my calendar, it says we have 6 days of school left. Really? While this year has been an exciting roller-coaster ride, this time of year is always bittersweet. I'm the first to admit, I am a bit more sentimental than I put off. I get so close to my students it's sad to send them off! Don't get me wrong, summer sounds amazing too! End of the year?

Seems like I'm starting every post this way but.WOW it's been awhile since my last blog post! I have a math training tomorrow for the third six week, that just blows my mind! Everything is going well. I think I'm sort of getting the hang of things. Not completely, I heard that doesn't come till at least the 4th year of teaching, but at least I'm not in a total zone of confusion.

Of course, but I found more details and FAQ from Mrs. Rojas on Create Teach Share. I bought my toolbox from my local Lowes for $16 and some change! You can't be that! It is actually called the " Stack-On 22 Drawer Storage Cabinet. 96" long, 19.3" wide, and the drawers are 6.3" deep. I got it home and started making labels. For it right away!
