Brighton Festival Youth Choir is open to young singers aged 11-18. Rehearsals take place at the Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN1 9PW on Wednesday evenings from 6.30-8.30pm during term-time. Membership is £75 a year, although bursaries are available for those experiencing financial hardship. This fee includes the cost of all music and travel outside of the Brighton area. Brighton Festival Youth Choir. In 2014 the choir worked with composer John Rutter performing his Mass of the Children and joined Brighton Youth Orchestra in a celebration of the work of John Tavener in the Brighton Festival. They appeared as guest choir with Russell Watson during his Candlelight Tour in December 2014 and most recently performed in Brighton Early Music Festival’s performance of Lucrezia Borgias Daughter in October 2015.
