Is, well it’s a project to realise a 25 year desire to design, build and race a HPV, or Human Powered Vehicle. And to try and break a number of World Records. Is only 1.3 miles long. tricerider the blog: Peter Ross interview
http://tricerider.blogspot.com/p/peter-ross-interview.html
For ICE and Peter Ross recumbent tricycle riders. My sincere thanks go to Paul Lowing of the BHPC forum for allowing this article to be published. An Interview With Peter Ross. For this inaugural issue I decided I would like to interview Peter Ross, the designer of the Trice, Speed Ross, Festina and Gem. Hearing about the Vector that had done a run from Brighton to Arundel at an average speed of 44mph and had previously been clocked at 59mph it was obvious that the HPV movement were producing vehicles wi...

When I'm not playing with computers I'm usually on 2 or 3 wheels. Sometimes on a motorbike, and sometimes doing this sort of thing. Ratty the Ratracer and Speedy the Windcheetah. That's me failing miserably to keep up with my twin brother Dave. For more information on HPV racing in the UK, please visit www.bhpc.org.uk. plywood velomobile: January 2012
http://plywoodvelomobile.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
On building a velomobile of plywood. Look at the design page. For info on the plywood velomobile construction. Saturday, 28 January 2012. On mass and aerodynamics. Is there a trade off between mass and aerodynamics? A streamlined velomobile may reach a higher speed at the same power input because of the decreased aerodynamic drag but the fairing adds extra mass to the vehicle. Is there a speed penalty in adding mass? Remark: decreasing the mass of the velomobile is not helping much as it is dominated by ...

Add study in ProE of a velomobile with front wheels inside. The gap between. The grey top cover and the red plating is a modeling fault. I am very happy I have (almost) found a way to get total control about the design. The last proto was modeled in Autocad (R14). Developing the sheets was done manually. Posted by Titus van den Brink.

A mail if you are interested in building my plywood velomobile design. 14 March 2011 at 12:59. I like to know more about how you used the plywood to make the body. Ive got my own design that uses no compound angles that I was going to build out of either Coroplast sheeting or Zotefoam. Your use of plywood looks interesting to say the least. On building a velomobile of plywood. Look at the design page. For info on the plywood velomobile construction. Friday, 6 September 2013. September 1st, a competition with other recumbents. The ride to the track and the competition itself were a very good test for the front suspension. The bike did very well and handled very good. At the end I was confident enough to go flat out. I noticed that the right side suspension works perfectly as expected, but the left side is stuck. A little work needed.
