Kathy sent me the idea for this class from Becky's Fabrics and Bernina,. I actually called the store and asked if they minded if I used their scarf for a class, and they kindly agreed. A love letter of sewing for my family and friends. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Infinity Scarves for 4 little girls. Infinity is love that never ends. Issa Allbritton, age 10. We made these scarves for one of our Kids Sew Sunday classes at the store, but I had a difficult time separating them from Katelyn and Sarah. These scarves were made last winter at Katelyn's home in Birmingham. The fun part is. putting the scarf over your head, looping it, and putting the second loop over your head, too. :).

That was only the first of many surprises for the weekend. Once we arrived at Jake's, two of my other dear friends, Laurel and Kierstin, showed up and I was floored. We had the chance to participate in the Anaheim, CA Semper 5K in support of Chris's unit the 13th MEU. up bright and early, we headed to Anaheim ready to run. This was the first 5K for Luke and Hayley and they smashed it! Hannah ran in the kid's fun run and loved every minute. That girl was born to run. I think they all may have caught the racing bug. We spent one morning down in SD to tour the King Tut Exhibit with our friends from co-op. Very fitting since we are studying ancient history this year with Heart of Dakota. I really enjoying being able to go to museums with the kids these days. I'm not having to chase little ones around and can actually read, listen and learn something myself. Another beautiful day in San Diego.
