Before all the joys of first times and. The traumas of teenage tension;. Before the agony of forever trying and. The rewards of accomplishments hard-earned;. Before all the hurts and confused communications. That lived between us;. Before all my missteps,. Those of an inexperienced mother. Who wasn't sure and didn't know,. View my ...

Friday, March 23, 2012. Spring's New Vision of Possibilities. New Moon Collage by Vicky Lynn Macchione,. Photo by Michel Pettigrew. The first new moon of Spring took place on March 22. One of the yearly tasks I have taken on at the new moon is creating a vision board to celebrate Spring's arrival and to open my mind and heart to fresh possibilities that promise to present themselves in this season of planting seeds, new life, and growth. Blue Heron Visions: June 2010
http://blueheronvisions.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 24, 2010. Two more zentangle-ish explorations. I am trying to get away from drawing "strings" (the shapes in which the "tangles" are made). The mandala was created from the central flower and is very flower-like throughout. I really love the second drawing because of the white space through the central part. And I like the black "pearls," too. ;o). These are so much fun to do. You should give it a try. Posted by Vicky Lynn. Black and white art. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Posted by Vicky Lynn.

Blue Heron Visions: July 2010

Wednesday, July 07, 2010. Zendalas as a Mirror. I am posting two zendalas I made yesterday and one I made today. What I want to illustrate is how the zendalas reflect my own psyche while making them. Today's zendala is much more balanced and harmonious. And that is how I am feeling. I named today's: "Finding My Center (Again).". Carl Jung believed that mandalas represent the Self and I agree. I am interested to see what kinds of mandalas will emerge as I continue this journey. Posted by Vicky Lynn. I am ...

Blue Heron Visions: August 2011
http://blueheronvisions.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 28, 2011. My Jack Layton Encounter. As a permanent resident of Canada, I am not entitled to vote. But if I could I would vote for Jack Layton's NDP party, not only because that party reflects my personal ideals but also because of my own encounter with the man whose political leanings seemed to be intrinsically linked to the person he was. Then, came the final procession of the parade- various political leaders who represented Québec, walking shoulder to shoulder, spanning the street from ...
