http://jasonsmcgee.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Musings of an engineer. Beware. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Nigeria Trip - Part 2. Here are two pictures of a fabrication yard in Port Harcourt:. Those tubes are huge suction piles. You sink those into the ocean floor to keep a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel from drifting. They act as anchors. The camp where we stayed in Port Harcourt was like a little oasis:. The people are just in poverty. Below are some more pictures:. Here are some pictures from Warri:. I think one of the ...

Musings of an engineer. Beware. Monday, May 30, 2011. Russia Trip May 23-27, 2011. I had my first opportunity to go to Russia this last week. Not Moscow, not St. Petersburg, but Yuzhno on Sakhalin island. The trip was for business, as we went up to Yuzhno for a workshop and then traveled on up to our Onshore Processing Facility (OPF) that is near the top of the island. (Sorry the map is all grainy). Here was my schedule:. Leave for the airport at 4:40 AM. Busan to Seoul (7:30-8:30 AM). Upon arriving in Y...

The Haggard Herald: We went swimming today...
http://thehaggardherald.blogspot.com/2014/07/we-went-swimming-today.html
The on-going events in our family's life. Friday, July 25, 2014. We went swimming today. Times It was fun because she was having so much fun. She's getting really good at jumping (lots of practice) and also pretty good at putting her face in the water to blow bubbles. She loves bobbing in the water although she still doesn't usually go underneath to do it; she just jumps up and down and likes the feeling of the water catching her as she comes down. So we've been busy. There are pictures to accompany ...

http://catchabreeze.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The long and winding road. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Don't you know what i'm thinking. But it's nice to watch without being in danger of having a heart attack. This weekend i had my first ever public organ performance. i did not have the bells on, sadly. i've wanted to play the organ bells ever since andrea did it for Christmas one year and no one in the congregation sang because we were laughing so hard. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Carried to ohio in a swarm of bees. Plan a - go golfing. One of my student...

Dreaming While I'm Wide Awake: I'm back!
http://carlidowns.blogspot.com/2009/03/im-back.html
Dreaming While I'm Wide Awake. Monday, March 9, 2009. Sorry I've been slacking! I have been sooooooo busy! Outside the Museum of Applied Art I saw a banner for a photography exhibit about the poverty in Americus, Georgia. Ironic, right? Who would have though that I would see a sign for an exhibit about GA in Vienna! It was kind of a wierd moment. I also saw a man who had been stabbed in the subway last week! In other news, I am going to Prague this weekend! Well, that is all for now. Alles Liebe!

http://carlidowns.blogspot.com/2009/10/life-through-tube-of-toothpaste.html
Dreaming While I'm Wide Awake. Monday, October 26, 2009. Life through a tube of toothpaste. So, it's been a while since I've posted. Oops. It's funny how life gets ahead of you, isn't it? We just finished our production of Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffman. The show was a success, and now I can catch up on all the other facets of my life. I was lucky enough to have my dad and brother come out for the show. It was really nice to see them, and I am excited to go home for Christmas! View my complete profile.

The Haggard Herald: October 2013
http://thehaggardherald.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The on-going events in our family's life. Friday, October 25, 2013. Also in my bin was an old little league shirt. I'm almost positive this actually belonged to Joseph because I didn't make it past t-ball. It makes me smile to see "Meyers" on the back of something Maddie is wearing. (Mom also put in one of my baton twirling t-shirts but it isn't featured in this post.). Canyon with her *sigh.*. On to other projects. Matt's old, holey jeans got cut up to become a pair of pants for M as well as the out...

http://thehaggardherald.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
The on-going events in our family's life. Friday, May 23, 2014. It's been a few weeks but I haven't forgotten to finish writing about the heavenly trip home to Florida. Saturday, April 19th. On the drive home Dad bought chicken and milkshakes for our carload at Chic-fil-A. Joseph and James and Madeleine were quite happy to each have their very own strawberry milkshake. Spoiled I tell you. :). Thanks for the pictures Alicia! Easter Sunday, April 20th. So that is a bit of a tangent but I think about that s...
