Mrs Foskett's 2nd Grade. This Week in 2nd Grade. This is an example of a number bond. In this picture 8 is the whole number. One possible way to break apart 8 is 7 and 1. In this number bond, 7 and 1 are considered the parts that make up the whole of 8. This will be a BIG concept that we will work with throughout the year! 2nd Grade Math- Singapore Math! I couldn't be more excited to start teaching math using our new Singapore Math curriculum and methods! Another focus in the first week is counting!
