The Big River Inn was formed in late 1896 after its founders discovered that there was a need for a restaurant in the small italian river town of Genoa. Starting originally as a restaurant, Big River Inn first serviced travellers traversing both Wisconsin trails and the Great Mississippi River. This included river boats and wagon trains heading to the Northwest. MANY of the changes we have made have been directly from your suggestions and thoughts.
