RETURN TO HOME PAGE. History of the Michael House. New Home for the Library. The library is in a home formerly known as the Michael House which was originally located at 300 Lincoln St. in Big Rock. The house was built in the early 1900’s and occupied by Edna Michael and her family. Later in life, she moved out of the home and married Mr. Harbour. RETURN TO HOME PAGE. Apply in person for your library card. Library card donations are very reasonable. A Family Card donation is $25 a year and an Individual Card donation is $10 a year. Less than 3 cents a day allows you a wide range of materials and Internet access. Library Card donations will increase when other library services are available at the Big Rock Library. A library card is valid for one year. For those under age 18, a parent or guardian must sign a consent form for Internet permission.
