A Year in New York City. The Twin Towers of light, for the 10th Anniversay of 9/11. Look pretty spectacular. Hahahah, not so spectacular, but a sight all the same. And one that makes me smile. The view from Manhatten, looking over the Hudson to my house for the next year! Looking all clean and tidy for Vins Birthday pre-drinks! And about twent minutes later it looked like this. First New York Snow, and in OCTOBER! An amazing sight at the Goal Charity Ball at Gotham Hall - AMAZING venue!

Its like a practice run for Christmas, but with more cheesey love-ins and discussions on what you are thankful for. I had a full apartment, with our New York family pulling out all the stops. A Year in New York City. Back to work with a bump after a four day weekend….but it’s ok, it was only for another four day week! Monday was a busy work day getting back into things after a long break! So the weeks that I missed were (i think) essay filled, and then I was away in Chicago with work. Both were very busy but not overly exciting, news worthy or photo filled so we are going to skip the detail and note the main points! This week I sat on a coach for 8 hours with three great travelling buddies to get all the way to Niagara Falls in upstate NY. Despite all the queues it was a pretty awesome visit and it's another thing crossed off my NY bucket list. Labels: 8 hour coach. Friday, 25 May 2012. Go Googa for my Mooga. My one year in New York. One Brit, One Year, One City - New York City. Monday, 16 July 2012. Picture of the Week: July 9th - 15th. On Friday morning we drove for 5 hours till we reached the area of Lake Placid. There was 21 of us in a beautiful Cabin for 4 days. This meant a tiki party, 2 x BBQ's, a hot-tub, an epic quiz, a trip to the lake for a swim, a hike to a waterfall, 40 bottles of wine, 5 litres of vodka and a keg.
