First held in 1992, this event is shared with the Lions. Clubs of Voreifel in Germany and Brussels Royale. The venue rotates between the three countries. A small Social Sub-Committee is formed each year from the membership who looks to draw up a varied calendar of activities to meet the needs of all tastes. Activities include:. We make regular charitable donations from the money raised by our fundraising events. Most donations go to local charities with some also to Lions Clubs International charitable causes. Recent examples are:. We matched initial funding to help cover the cost of their green energy project to install solar panels at their meeting hall which is also used by pre-school, older persons and a line dancing club.
