The Warren: November 2011
http://imwarren.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Personal Blog of Warren Tan. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Semester exam is over for me. Mixed feelings. It's a much awaited one month break before its starts all over again in semester 2. Optimistic. I did relatively well for the reports, CAs. Semi-optimistic. I think I did well, but my grade would depend on relative performance of the cohort. Pessimistic. What can go wrong with an open-book MCQ. Plus my poorly done CAs. This module is going to be a disaster for me. Renew my first-aid cert. Students can ...
The Warren: June 2012
http://imwarren.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Personal Blog of Warren Tan. Friday, June 29, 2012. Year 1 Sem 3 (Special Semester) Results. GEK1521 Physics in the Life Sciences. CAP if S/U: 4.58. CAP without S/U: 4.64. 1 SS, 1 Breadth, 3 more UE eligible for S/U. 3 S/U options remaining. I think I should conserve my S/U option. Accept a further 0.06 drop in CAP, and work harder next semester. 5 more S/U-able module seems like too risky to waste a S/U option on a B module. Links to this post. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Transit of Venus 2012. Sorry for t...
The Warren: December 2011
http://imwarren.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Personal Blog of Warren Tan. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Year 1 Sem 1 Results. After a hectic first semester, I am glad that I got reasonable good grades. I will continue to work hard to maintain my standing. Ironically, the module which I predicted to be wost-faring, turned out to be my best. I got into p-trouble and was struggling through all the CAs, yet it turned out with an excellent grade. A fun module overall, but also heavy on workload. On expectation. Did well in the CAs. Plan for Year 2 Sem 2:.

The Warren: FYP
http://imwarren.blogspot.com/2014/10/fyp.html
Personal Blog of Warren Tan. Saturday, October 18, 2014. For some reason, i didn't make any post for the past 10 months. Now, i am in the middle of my final year in NUS Life Science. FYP can be tough to juggle, especially if you have to shuttle between lectures and lab. FYP really is my first opportunity to be in the driver seat, doing a research project. Peers with horror stories of their FYP are not unheard of, so I am really glad to have joined a great lab. With fun people and a nurturing mentor.
