Students, families, staff, and friends of The Birchtree Center have set a goal to run, walk, ride, skip, jump and climb a total of 4,925 miles. This April for Miles in Our Shoes: A Fitness Challenge for Autism Awareness Month. All pledges go to The Birchtree Center's Family Support Fund. Which underwrites admission-free Autism Workshops. Friday, June 24, 2011. Investing in the Future. For over five years, members of the Seacoast chapter of Altrusa International have volunteered at The Birchtree Center. They have arrived at our school with craft supplies, creative ideas, and warm smiles, ready to help our students make holiday gifts for their families.
